The children of Ganon Gil Preschool meet and mingle with Seniors of the North Inland Jewish Family Service program. This program is led by Intergenerational Music program Specialist, Kat Fulton, who uses music as the catalyst that brings preschool-aged children and senior citizens together.
Approximately one-hour long, the Intergenerational Music program, held on Wednesdays at Temple Adat Shalom, is a unique program. Singing old-time Pan Alley songs inspires joyous memories for the seniors. As for the kids? They love to learn to sing anything!
Props such as scarves, drums and shakers make both preschoolers and seniors feel involved and engaged.
