The transition from Ganon Gil Early Childhood Center to Temple Adat Shalom's religious school, Mosad Shalom, is a natural and seamless path for many families wishing to continue their children's Jewish education.
At Mosad Shalom, learning is an ongoing process of study and practice that occurs in many places and times. Offered in each session, as well as the many yearly special events, are Jewish experiences that enable the students to appreciate and understand the depth, breadth and beauty of their heritage, which contribute to the development of a positive Jewish self-identity and pride in their Judaism. Good and consistent modeling of Jewish values by teachers, parents and congregational leaders is an integral component of the curriculum, with the goal of translating Jewish learning into Jewish living.
Each student is encouraged and enabled through study, dialogue, investigation and the arts to ask questions and search for answers. Teachings help students to make informed choices that will make living and the practice of Judaism personally and spiritually meaningful.
